Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

thanks guys - i have seen others for sale- never with a time period listed
i got this one in a local antique show simply because of its condition.
but, i am thinking of using it in a photo set up with a gun and other artifacts that are specifically to the early 1900's - and am trying to stay in that range- I'll bet this is later, 30's or 40's - just hoped someone might know

You might check eBay. Right now they have several Hoppe's items including a Hoppe's can just like the one you have. Among the other items are several boxes of old cleaning patches that have the same address for Hoppe's on them as your item and the copyright date for the info on the box "1946." Also wording on one of the boxes mentions the items are used by the "War Dept." Putting all this together, I submit that your can likely existed in or about the WWII era, early to mid-forties.
