For the past three season's five of us have leasted the small game hunting rights from a farmer/rancher in South central Nebraska.

This year, we arrived to find that the owner had removed the property from the CRP program and all that wonderful grassland habitat was in large round bales at the side of field. You know the impact on the pheasant hunting. However, we found the quail numbers up in the woody draws and creek bottoms.

My Goodness: Bruce just reading that makes me itch. I sure wish that was the case in Georgia. I have an old friend in Mandon N.D. Does anyone do any hunting near there? He doesn't hunt and is not able. Well go getem. Gerald.
