IMHO - its a 10 or 12 single barrel with a slight reflection, if you look at the shadow under his hat bill and the sunlight on the the other barrels and actions in the pictures, the shading on a couple faces and sides of legs, as well as the faint shadow of the branches on the tent (especially in the first picture) - I think the sun was above and to the left of the photographer, just right to reflect back at the lens
