Dean, I own Parker 236,200 It is a 16g GHE with the same style engraving. I had come to the conclusion that it was a transition gun also as no Parker Bros on the side but clearly marked Parker Special Steel on the beautiful tapered rib. With only 83 guns total in 1933 I think they had plenty of time to work on guns and they are some of the best fitted guns to come out of the Parker factory ! That's probably wishful on my part because I own one. I really enjoy the birds engraved on the gun same style as yours and the pair of quail on the side are just great. my gun does not have checkered side panels or the unique butt plate that your gun exhibits.
