From a fellow English Setter owner, that is a gorgeous photo of your pups, Steve. And I think I recall that the younger dog involved a long drive for you and a bit of a rescue, didn't it?

You should be very happy with those two boys! My boy, Beau, is totally gun-broke, whistle-broke, and pretty well on the way to whoa-broke at ten months. He is birdy as all get-out, so I couldn't be happier with my fella. And he's a lap-lover, too, much to the delight of my wife, who is a bit of a dog-whisperer in her own right.....

Dave

Dave, different dog. That dog i rescued was a half sister to these to. We kept her at the house for three months that summer but i had to ship her back to the breeder as she had developed some issues from her mistreatment that i could not deal with. The good news is that after 6 months back with the breeder she overcame them and was placed in a nice home and is a hunting fool now.
