When I load 1 1/4 oz 10 gauge 2 7/8" SpredR loads, I just eliminate the 16 gauge over shot card from the SP-10 wad and still load 1 1/4 oz of shot. My thought process is a swap of space and weight of the over shot card for space and weight of the SpredR insert.
When I load a 12 gauge SpredR shell and just reduce the shot charge by 1/8th oz most of the crimps pucker out. I step up in wad as well, in other words if I am loading a 1oz load in the pink WW wad, my 7/8 oz SpredR load will be in the white WW wad.
Anyone else have a similar experience?
