The guy I bought it from lived in the Republik of MD and he told me he took it to a dealer to ship it to us and the dealer packaged it . I dunno which was worse the packing job or the USPS . I dunno why he needed to use a dealer being as the guns an 1884 , maybe it’s a state thing . And on the other hand I’ve packed some guns really really well , where they have about two inches of bubble wrap on all sides and other stuff around them So they don’t move inside the box and some people still complain .
