It's -30F up here Dean; that slows everything down! Spectacular sunrises are the most exciting thing going. Here's one from Jan 5 looking out my southern window. It doesn't rise very high and doesn't stay up for long, but it sure is purty while it's up. The mountain in the center is over 15,000ft high and is 95miles away. Here's an earlier one from January 5 where I captured perfectly a DC-6, likely loaded with 2500gal of fuel in bulk tanks, clawing for altitude as it climbed over our ridge on it's way to some remote village to the west. I love the rumble of those struggling radials as they go over! They're like a pacemaker to a pilot!
