I was at the auction standing there watching . The barrels were cut the metal was loosely called refinished , the wood was refinished , the barrels had been cut , the wood to metal fit was horrible , gun was an 0 frame as well as I can remember the serial number dated it at 1902 or 3 . You missed nothing , if you had purchased it you woulda've had a small fortune in it to make it decent and it would always be not anywhere near the way it left the factory .

Completing my 00 frame 28 gauge custom project, my 0 frame 20 gauge repair and restoration to "age appropriate" condition, begin restoration work on my $150 grade early lifter short 10, and decide what to do with the D grade top lever 10 that needs re-jointing.
And bargain hunting!

My first order of business it to decide what two Parkers to add for my upcoming January quail hunt. I take 6 guns for a three day hunt
and there are 4 that are a must go. The two additions will be 20's maybe a 28 (I'm already taking a hammer gun in 28) something from the dark corners of the tomb, perhaps the Damascus CHE or GHE 20's who knows it's a conundrum for sure ![]() The next step is to keep my net worth intact at the Southern ![]() Ike will get a girlfriend the end of spring or early summer depending on the breeding dates so a month to six weeks in the U.P. with Ike, Molly several Parkers and a couple of English guns is definitely on the calendar. The thing with goals however is once achieved they no longer motivate so lets all strive to keep achieving
