Crazy Glue with an internal pin or two would fix it. Cost and time is negligible.
I use Brownells Acraglas for all stock repairs. If pinned horizontally (not showing) it will be stonger than the surrounding wood. It can also be checkered over if necessary. It will last forever and, if there is no missing wood, could be done so the crack is all but invisible.
