This is just idle curiosity as I am not planning on shooting and I am certain there is an obvious reason:

Why are 10 gauges not allowed? Just curious.

Bill,

I believe it's for the simple fact that we don't have a 10 bore anywhere in the Fox arsenal; Phiily, Utica or New Britsky.

Good luck to both teams. I will be conducting my own challenge with both makers to see which one bags the most Woodcock and Grouse. This will be an exhaustive and comprehensive test involving various conditions such as weather, terrain and hangovers This in depth testing will last approximately 6 weeks
