Hi Jerry,

First - as I e-mailed you in private - and posted in this thread: http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2401 - simply THANK YOU!!!

As well......

I am disappointed that not a single one of the previous posters has told you the REAL TRUTH about becoming a PGCA Member. Even Sir knight "Bruce of the Day" failed to mention it..?? However, please know - that you PGCA Membership holds some magical and mystical qualities...

For example - you will be receiving your PGCA Membership card shortly. I would recommend you carry it at all times. If you are ever pulled over for a traffic infraction, just flash your PGCA Membership card, and the officer will nod, smile - and walk away. If you happen to be in Meridan CT at that time - the officer will actually call ahead to have every road and intersection cleared for your immediate passage...

Such is the "Magic of Membership"...

And late in the day - if you are bird hunting and haven't reached your limit - simply attach your PGCA Membership card to your vest. The quarry, upon seeing that - will fly right into your game vest... You MUST be prepared for all your many shots to be "incomers"...

If you fish - and the day hasn't brought you that record fish you were tying to hook - again - open your creel and attach the PGCA Membership card to the open cover... The fish will be jumping right into your creel. Bring a big creel...

Then there is the PGCA Certificate.. It is museum quality and will become a family heirloom in no time at all.. In fact, in a pinch, it is also accepted as a "birth certificate", or "marriage license" - and once, was used as a "land title" for 150,000 acres in Siberia (but I'm not sure it wasn't more?)...

And finally....

There is the satisfaction of becoming larger than the both of us. Rather it is the combination of hundreds of Parker Collectors and enthusiasts who simply share their knowledge, friendship and stories as "fellow friends"...

In my world, it's the last Magical Quality of Membership which I mentioned above - which is most valuable above all others...

Jerry....

Welcome aboard and thank you for support, enthusiasm and fellowship...

You are what PGCA Membership is all about...

Thanks for that...

John
