I have 2 20's and a 12 with a BT. I really like them all, especially for target shooting. I feel like I have more muzzle control after the first shot. Summertime 5-stand with a splinter is a gloves on proposition. The barrels get so hot they cannot be touched.
That said, I prefer the splinter on my grouse gun as it seems a bit quicker to get into action. Real or perceived I do not know but I prefer it when hunting.
