Looks like 2 7/16 to my eye, but in light of the fact it's roll crimped, call it 2 1/2 ?? All three measure the same.

Robert ; Thank you for the photo; you have hit the nail on the head. Although ad copy and boxes have lengths printed on them the real answer to this question can be found in one way; measuring shell length.
