This is one of my favorite set of dogs on a Parker gun. I am partial to setters but the pointer on this gun is just a stud. Mint very late Remington DHE by Mr. Runge I think.

I especially like the posture of that pointer Brian, but perhaps most of all I think the artist's use of negative space really focuses the viewer's eye on the subject of the entire vignette - the dog.
