It comes in at 6lb-6oz You are correct about that....)-: would prefer it at 6lbs even. The Spanish guns seldom are that light, most are over 6lb-8oz. I will say a light 16 can be hard on the shoulder, none of my guns have recoil pads. Its a trade off on a grouse gun. I have started loading a 16ga target shell...easy on the shoulder for my light 16-s 2-3/4" hull, win 209, 15 grains of International, Down range wad with one thin filler card under 7/8 oz of shot. Great crimp, good solid ignition and they break clays good. I have been looking for a Arrieta but have yet to find miss right! Few English or Spanish guns have a pistol grip.
