Definately not a Smith, they have a Schnable forend. Could be a Westley Richards , I had one years ago but it was restocked. I think it had a sculptured side but it's been too long ago. Did Daly's have a scalloped frame? If the picture was from 1917, we could rule out some manufactures or models. I'll have to look at my American Single Barrell book to see if there are any similar guns in it or maybe Randy, you have already looked.
