Your best and most efficient course is to pursue Browning records first. The gun was special-ordered through some US shop and a trail of it should still exist at Browning UT or Liege. At least hopefully. That might give you a name, address, time frame, etc.

Although not the top-of-the-line, this gun was NOT cheap. Especially in 1964. Expensive guns have records. Or should.

I have already spoken with Mr. Reis the browning historian, he was having trouble reading the record sheets. I will speak to him again, I was just curious if you knew where to check pachmyr?
