Is it in original condition or has it been refinished?

Here is a page from Dewey Vicknair's web log. He repaired a stock that had been 'repaired' in the past. It can be done. Good Luck!

Very nicely done. - That's exactly how David Trevallion repaired Charlie Herzog's "Chicken Coop Gun", a very pretty Grade 3 Parker featured in the Spring 2016 Issue of Parker Pages.

I'm no expert at spotting this stuff, but IMO it looks like the forend has been redone, the finish was quite a bit shiner and newer looking than the stock. Receiver and barrels both look original to me.

Gun is advertised as having NO SAFETY, but the safety is there and slides back and forth, but apparently does nothing.
