Q1 and Q2 chokes are only seen on the Parker Reproduction by Winchester - no other gun uses that choke identifier because Richard Skuese 'invented' it... not the constriction but the description. According to The Parker Story, Skuese simply wanted a 'nomenclature' that set his guns off from the rest of the "Skeet" guns and he wanted his guns to be more accepted by the hunting public as well as Skeet shooters.

By the way Kurt, there are no stupid questions around here - there is SO much to learn and to know.

I have found that just because a gun is marked as skeet choke it doesn't mean much. My 16ga VHE skeet gun is .010 in both barrels and the Hollywood gun also a 16ga skeet is IIRC .004 &.006. Lots of difference and they only way to know for sure is at the pattern board.

Default Q1&Q2 inventor

Ha Ha Dean, I have been accused of a lot of things (most untrue) but being the inventor of Q1&Q2 is not one of them. I don't know where that came from, I can look around if you fellows want but I may not find an answer. Thanks again Richard Skeuse
