I thought he took a Fox on an African safari. Everyone knows a Fox is just a JV Parker anyway. Look at the early ones.

Default A JV Parker-

as in "Junior varsity"-- wow, I have a Utica 20 Sterly- fine gun, but not nearly as fine as the 16 BE with Krupp Flustahl barrels a friend has- As Teddy was a Col. in the Spanish-American War, and Fox's Sales manager was a Col. Roll- perhaps their military ties made Teddy a "Foxist"- Now Ithaca's, that was John P. Sousa I believe--(and the monkey wrapped his tail around the flagpole- etc-- key of B flat most likely--

If I remember correctly Fox gave him an XE or something on that order before he went on Safari. Seems like there is only a sentence about it in his book "African Game Trails". Some buddies also went together and bought him a Holland and Holland double rifle. It sits at the Frazier Museum in Louisville KY. So does a flintlock owned by George Washington and some Colts owned by Custard. The details are muddy tonight....
