Charlie, Dave is right about the Repos. They are good guns and at a much more attractive price. If you want a little nicer repo look at www.greensguns. Chuck takes them a step farther as he recuts the engraveing by hand, reshapes the stock, and puts a much nicer case color to them.

Default Maine has some Mountains, like Lobster and sea-ducks?

So perhaps the gun library schleppers at the Maine Cabela's are 'doin' some doobie" whilst a pricin' non-original Paaaarkaaas- Sort of a "Colorado Rocky Mt. High (priced) moves Eastward--

I've been twice to the Mi Dundee Cabela's Gun Library, and I was "under-whelmed" to say the least- none of their used and way overpriced shotguns have a gunsmith safety check- I found a 12 3E Smith- the safety slide was dis-engaged, so NO safety- when I mentioned this to the sales dude, I might as well have been speaking Urdu--

$22K in my pocket free and clear- spend as I wish, but on guns and ammo to shoot (clays or game birds with) not to hoard in a Gun Safe for "investment"- I'd rather buy a clean Remington VHE 12 Parker and a ton of RST No. 8's, have enough left for a three day bird hunt at one of the fancy ND or SD Lodges too- 28 gauge- like a .410 on steriods maybe???

Dean,

Save a little of that Tennessee Whiskey for Sunday morning. Everyone will confuse you for an Episcopalian.....and if you find Cabela's is dishing out 15K for old VH 28 gauges they can have mine.
