These birds, if they are egrets, must have been popular at Parker in 1891 or so as I have seen three different A grades with them. Here is a photo I have previously posted of a 10 ga. (also a show gun) with the same birds on the floorplate.

Yours is a very cool gun. Something about those A grades from the 1890-93 era that is special and my favorite.

The left and center birds, in my opinion, are Great Blue Herons.

That center heron has caught a very neatly depicted 'sea serpent'.

The one on the right appears to me to be a Sandhill Crane. The eye marking and tail at least makes it appear to point tonit being a Sandhill.
The gun looks even nicer in person.

I inspected this gun at the Vegas Show. I counted 9 game scenes including on the bolsters and trigger guard. This is one of the nicest engraved Parkers I have ever held. Fantastic!!!
