My Grandfather's E Grade Lefever pigeon gun was left to my uncle when Granddad died in 1929. My uncle also lived in Brooklyn and never hunted while he had the gun. About 1956, when I was eleven years old, my uncle sent me the Lefever. It was clean as a pin and looked probably like it looked in 1929. Please post the pictures of your Parker.
