I see you're planning on hunting deer with a 500 BPE double, that should do it. The British thought the 500 a wonderful Stag rifle. The British BPE doubles are fun to hunt with, I've taken some game with those that I own. Here's a little Mule Deer that I took several years ago with my T. Turner 500-450 BPE.

Nice deer. I struck out on Mule Deer this year but it happens sometimes. We have a late antlerless season that lets me use some fun rifles that I wouldn't probably use otherwise. In addition to the 348 there is a M94 38-55, the 500 BPE, a Ruger #1 450-400 NE. This is a fun gun to shoot when loaded with Trail Boss and some Hornady pistol bullets.
