Nice speed goat. I got my one and only one with a muzzleloader some years ago.
At one time I hunted only with muzzleloaders but was lured away by the siren call of the new fangled breechloaders. My muzzleloader friends all said I went to the "dark side" to "suppository guns" as they called them. But truth be known I like collect and shoot guns if they are "old" by today's standards.
Here's a picture of myself and my older son quite a few years ago with a rifle similar to yours. My rifle is a model 1874 Sharps made in Bridgeport, caliber is 45 2 1/10" aka 45-70. As the saying goes, " if it could only talk". Mine doesn't have one of those glass tube sights like yours but I'm at the point it would make seeing a sight picture much easier.
