If you send it to another FFL you are going to have to fill out all the paper work as if you were purchasing it again. He won't ship it directly back to you in MD?
I'm in the north east corner of CT, I could accept it for you but the only way you are going to get away without jumping through the hoops is to receive it back at your home.
