Well....I doubt they'll start selling Parkers any time soon but here's an interesting article from this month's Esquire magazine....hope you can see it well enough to read it.

Still a bunch of made in China crap though.

DuxBak is set for a return to the market.

And early reports are it's all going to be Made in the USA.

I'll give more information as I get it.

Destry -- that will be a classic if they can do it

as for A&F - its a start - but after the years of trashy clothes for spoiled brats- it may be too big a leap

What was apparently the last Duxback factory was here in Maryland. There was an attached outlet/closeout store where local people could buy the best outdoor clothes at about a third of retail.

The new incarnation is a group out of Arkansas. Apparently some of the same folks who did the original McAlister line a few years ago. They've licensed the name from Dickies who's actually the current owner.

The new target market A&F is aiming for with the re-styling of their clothing line..... The 'outdoorsy' type.

They are only addressing 'style' and not utility at all... so they can't claim to be going back to their roots nor can they even compare themselves to what "Abercrombie & Fitch" once stood for.

I agree Dean. Sort of like what happened to LL Bean and Eddie Bauer.
That guy in the picture is one disturbed individual for sure.

I appreciate the photo of that modern day warrior....but I think the A&F crowd is more the 14-17 year old under 120lbs male who is prettier than any girl in his class and remains unsure of which restroom to use when he's not crashed out on his parents' sofa.
