You're going to have to send us a bunch of pictures to solve the mystery of small frames with big barrel weight. We doubt that you have a #1 or #1 1/2 frame gun. In the place of pictures, you could send us measurements.

Bill watch Ebay for copies of both books. Sometimes used copies come up for sale at a good price. Some sellers want as much or more as you can buy the blems for.
Also check out boxes of gun books at auctions for these as well. Do you have the original barrels for your gun to take measurements from? erick |

Yes. The original barrels are stamped 1 1/2 as well. I'm assuming the frame size is 1 1/2 since the serial numbers all match, but I haven't measured the distance between the pins or other areas yet.

What rib marking is on the 5-10 barrels? Specifically, the type of steel.
