After using the gun myself yesterday, I agree that he does not have a trigger problem , but rather hand or grip problem......The release motion/distance necessary for the Parker ST to activate the setting process is indeed different from many newer designs.....

I fired at 50 pairs of double targets with the piece and encountered no mishaps. Two friends also fired the gun at 10 pairs each with no problem.....

We have resolved the problem by me relieving him of the gun, and him returning to his more modern O/U's

I would like to think everyone here who generously offered their input and suggestions....
