brian i have the hammer out now on the bad side left side it seems ok to me the hammer spring seems to be as stout as the other side...the firing pin by eye seems to be as long as the other one...i was gona take the fireing pin out but the little screw that keeps the fireing pin holder is really stuck donot believe its ever been out...here is what i have found the fireing pin holder is not screwed down as deep as the other fireing pin holder by at least by 2 threads...but the fireing pins in the fired poisition seem to be even... what is the best rust loosner that you use...i ve got wd 40 on it at the moment....i know there is better stuff but its all i have got at the momenti f i can get the small screw out and be able to ajust the fireing pin a little farther down maybe it will solve my problem but if the fireing pin holder is bottomed out already then i may have to gey a longer fireing pin...what do you think....charlie
