Bruce, your comments about the Rooskies fly by brought back a few memories of being buzzed by our own air force while we were cruising close and slowly just off the DMZ waiting for targets to be spotted and called in. We locked on and were tracking, our friendlies dropped chaff to jam our radar. When I was given the order to fire down in main battery plot, our 5 inch 54's had slewed into the stops. That same night the Australian GM Destroyer HMS Hobart took a air to surface rocket in her aft missle room and killed 7 sailors. We were lucky that night that no friendlies fired on us.
