36" barrels are not common at all. Anything over 30" is considered special order and anything over 32" is rare.

And a C grade 2 barrel set makes it a very desireable gun.

Now, is this a hammerless or hammer gun?

Your question about restoraion work really depends on an assesment of the original condition of the gun vs what the gun needs done to it. And how any work may effect the value of the gun.

If you are considering any restoration work, i cannot think of a better candidate from a rarity and desirability standpoint. Good, quality work that is true to original and correct is of the utmost importance with such guns.

I would love to see pictures of the gun.
