My valuation for this gun is based on the metal - the 32" steel barrels and the nice looking receiver. The wood, not so much, but it remains a viable gun for someone looking for a good shooter that will handle modern shells. I guess a 'fair' price is at the lower end of what I said. At $1500 both the seller and buyer should not feel too violated.

To me you are buying a put together
shooter with long barells, and I think
most of the value is in the barells and I would go for it
