I have shot numerous doubles with Parkers on doves. Heck, I shot 3 in one day last year. I've never applied for a doubles pin because a double on doves is just not that difficult to accomplish. On the other hand, if by some stoke of luck I manage to shoot a true double on grouse, I'll definitely be applying for a pin. My point, doubles are not created equal and perhaps the pin should reflect that.
