Alliant actually has a published load using 29 grains of Green Dot in a Federal Hull (3.5"), with an 1 1/4 of lead shot. Win 209 primer, SP 10 wad with 6 .135 cards for filler. Velocity is 1265, pressure 8800.

I used this as a baseline and load 27 gr GD with 1 1/4 ounce lead in a 2 7/8" Fed hull. SP10 wad and 1/4" fiber filler. I have shot a lot of crows with this load through composite barrel guns without issue.

I'm shopping about for a 10 gauge and am fascinated by this loading you boys are talking about. Sounds like something along the lines of field artillery or an anti-personnel mine, frickin 29 grains of Green Dot?!?!
