Default 6# 7oz unstruck weight 10ga., # 3 frame???

10 gauge hammerless gun with 32" twist barrels marked 6-7 unstruck weight. There is no stamp on the barrel tang indicating frame size. The barrels seem heavy for a #3 frame or am I incorrect??

measure the distance between firing pins. A 3-frame will have a spread of 1 3/16" a 4-frame will have 1 1/4".

I've never seen a 4 frame hammerless gun. It's either a heavy 3 frame or a 6 frame. This is just my guess, of course.
