I too have been a victim of friendship. A guy I used to shoot with quite a bit is a serious grouse hunter with good dogs, britts at the time, asked if he could go along with me to observe my setters. I took him to a favorite spot of mine where I never see another grouse hunter. Well, after this hunt I have seen him there on numerous occasions and he does not seem the least bit guilty about it. Well, never again!

I've come to the conclusion that my only true friends are my dogs. They never let me down. Of course, that is not true but at times it sure seems so.

Gary and Dean, I feel your pain as that same thing has happened to me, as Gary says, about the only one you can be sure of is your "Dog".... Pretty sad to say but it's true.
