Just patterned both barrels in my Parker 10 Hammer gun with 1 1/8 oz 7 1/2 and 22.5 Green Dot. SP 10 Wad with a 1/2 inch 16 G fiber wad bottom of the shot cup.

Patterns are nearly identical to RST factory 1 1/8 oz # 8 with less recoil. Difference in the shot size is obvious but still plenty of pellets in the pattern.

No crono yet, am going to load up 25 and shoot some clays with them first

Thanks all

William

Back when I was shooting a lot of ATA trap Green Dot was the preferred powder by reloaders for their handicap loads, 3 dram 1 1/8, for it's tight patterns and lower perceived recoil. In trapshooting if you think something gives you an edge, it does. I think you will like that loading in your 10.

Finished 25 fold crimped and another dozen same load with Polywad 12 g spreader disk over the shot roll crimped .

Would like to see how fast they are have a chronograph that's a real pain to set up. If this lot breaks targets well will crono the last few shells..

RST's Red ones, Chedditte made. When ahead and loaded 50 And filled in with 50 more using new primed unfired Cheddites cut down to 2 7/8 inch from 3 1/2 inch.

Another 25 Spreaders roll crimped from Brown RST's cut down, head stamp says "USA' so guessing they are Federals. Loaded the Spreader shells with # 9 considering am only going to use them under 20 yards. Now need to load another dozen spreader shells with 7 1/2 for Rabbits

Going to shoot a round of Clay's Sat, figured might as well give the load a full trial.
