I have one that my father gave me for my 12th birthday ,that was in 1952.
I remember going to the hardware store to pick it up.
We didn't have that kind of money then and I can only wonder what was cut in our household budget to afford $36.00!!
I shot so many grey squirrels my father threatened to take it away if I brought anymore home.
