It seems to open easier when live firing. It is still a little stiff, but not as bad as when I dry fire the gun. Could just be adrenaline from shooting. It is easy to open once hammers are cocked. Haven't tried it yet with just one hammer cocked.

Sounds like a total cleaning is in order. Spring pockets might be loaded up, as well as cocking slide trying to slide on old, dried up, or no, grease.
It isn't a lug-in-frame clearance issue if it opens easily after it's cocked.
