Figured I'd load them for as long as I can full length, then cut them down as they start to split. Yes, I'm a tightwad.
At 25 yards, both barrels are shooting about a 16" circle. This is tighter than my 28" modified choke 12 gauge. I want a better chance at skeet, so I loaded a couple of shells where I sandwiched the shot between the two filler wads. Patterns from both barrels opened up from 16" to 22". Now I've got to try putting both filler wads on top of the shot.

Hi. i found when i put filler wads on top it opened my patterns up to 50 % at 40 yds
