I have a set of 30" that I added to my SSS. A couple of years after I purchased the gun, John Allen contacted me saying that Mr. Skeuse had a set available. I sent the gun to New Jersey so the barrels could be fitted. Also exchanged the case for a two barrel case.

These 30" barrels fit well, but the forend fits a tighter than with the 28" barrels. Always wondered if any fitting work was actually done. Concerns me a little, possibly the front of the forend lug should be stoned a little?

Have not shot a box of shells through these barrels.

Before stoning the forend lug, try the fit with the forend removed. If it is still tight with the forend removed, it isn't the lug that is the problem.
