That's right Mark - she is lovely. This particular portrait has been discussed here before several years ago. One of the points someone made back then was that the Parker has an unusually short forend... but maybe that's where it broke off when she slammed the forend on without checking that it was lined up correctly. It looks to have been nicely trimmed though.

In the Spring Issue of Parker Pages you will be treated to a few guns that were owned by a fellow who just couldn't stop breaking his forends in half
