I don't know about any "black hole of curatorship", but a couple people are looking for me, I have some leads, and if one is around, it will show up.

Best,
Bruce

Default FURTHER OFF TOPIC

I did a lot of hydrology during my working days, and taught hydrology at Lyndon State after I retired. Some people say fishing with a hydrologist is like asking a plumber the way to the men's room but I'll omit that story.

I have a little photo set up that allows me to photograph with front or back light, add with changeable back ground. Two pictures of trolling streamers are attached. The yellow filters imitate a long light path through very clear water, and the tan background a typical sediment covered bottom. The first picture simulates what would be seen with sun and sky light behind, against the bottom. The second simulates what would be seen looking up toward sun or sky light.

Best, Austin

Best, Austin-

You are welcome, and thanks indeed for posting a foto of same. That is real jungle cock eye, and now the fly fishing division of the PGCA brotherhood can see the quality of the late Bill Hunter's tying vise. I've know two gentlemen with that first name, both set the standards (IMO) for straight forward business deals, Bill Jaqua in firearms and Bill Hunter in fly fishing!
