Default 34" barrels

I have a friend that has three Parker 12 gauge guns with 34" pipes . Two of them are DH guns (not sure if they have ejectors or not) . And the third gun I think is a GH or VH .

He uses the two D grade guns as his sporting clays guns , not sure what the chokes are either but he shoots them very well .

Anyway I was curiouse of the scarcity of 34" guns ?

And were most of the 34" 12 gauge guns field guns or target guns ?

34" 12 gauges are rare and sought after. Your friend is lucky

Yes, to have 3 of them is a special thing.

One of the recent issues of Garden & Gun had a feature on Southern Guides. Father and son team from Mississippi pictured in a Duck blind with there "34 inch Parker". Don't have it at hand for exact reference right now.

My SC SBT has a 34 inch barrel. It is very smooth on targets. I'd like to try it on turkeys as well. It is a great gun and draws no end of praise on the range.
