I agree, Gary. Maxi Lites are just the shell for the early lifters. Also, I would not hesitate to buy a high grade lifter that was cracked. While I understand why those who knew where that $250 grade was being auctioned kept their cards close to their chest, I wish they had followed through.

Well I "acquired" a circa 1881 lifter in 10 gauge today . This one is radiused . I think it may have a not original stock .

Barrels are supposed to be 30" dunno frame size and it's a Grade 2 .

This is my newest Parker. A grade 3, It's just after they changed to a radius at the water table/ standing breach. I didn't get a picture of it, but it has the whole 5 digit SN on the end of the rear barrel lug.
