That jug should be 6.6 pounds which will load 84 1 1/4 ounce shells or 76 1 3/8 ounce shells. The 1 1/4 ounce loads of 1's through a tight choke will drop geese at 35 yards every time you put them in the pattern. Beyond that the 1 3/8 ounce is little better and about all you need for normal ranges.

The up front cost of the loose Bismuth is high. Using average retail component prices the 1 1/4 ounce load is about $2.50 a shot and the 1 3/8 about $2.75 a shot. Contrast that against the $4 per shot for RST 1 1/4 ounce Nice Shot and the savings of reloading adds up real fast.
