i think in my youth were the best days of my hunting..could not sleep the night when deer season was to begin but sure was easy to fall asleep on a deer stand..yes i remember stopping at them greasy spoon cafes espically one..my food was cold when i got it and when i took a big slug of coffee the grease stains made little blue streaks in my warm almost cool coffee...and when we got on the road i never thought we were gona make it to the woods if we had been one minute later and if i had on one more layer of clothing it woulda been to bad i woulda needed some more britches for sure..yes we remember them good hunts well...ha charlie

Charlie I once had a very similar experience while on a duck hunt. I couldn't get back to the canoe and the waders proved a hindrance to the task at hand.
