Yes. It sold for $6000 plus the juice of 17-20%.

It was a great auction. If you need a shotgun, it was the place to be. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet Bill Davis, or did I?

Bill,

I was there along with Murphy, McCormack, and Howard Loewensteiner. Too bad we didn't meet, or did we??? I'm assuming your the Bill Davis from NJ that I'm always doing letters for

To my untrained eyes, the AHE looked original, to some others, the engraving was suspect and to others, they had reservations as to whether the barrels were replacements. We'll never know because there are no records on this gun.
